Para falarmos de um Restaurante como o Búzio, com 55 anos de história, certamente que temos que começar pelo principio. Alberto Duarte Mateus e Maria Fernanda Adão Mateus casaram-se em 1956. Alberto trabalhava como banheiro de verão e pedreiro nos restantes meses no ano, Fernanda era costureira a tempo inteiro. Em Julho de 1957, a família viu-se aumentada com o nascimento do primeiro filho, o Luís Alberto. Chega a década de oitenta, e em Agosto de 1982, Alberto e Fernanda compram o edifício onde cresceu .
